The Compound File EXplorer (CFX) is a Windows developer's tool for examining and editing the structure and contents of OLE structured storage files (compound files). Compound files are used by Microsoft Office applications to store documents allowing the application developer to store information streams in a structured, hierarchically organized, single file.
